Please read carefully, as there are different types of valve and engine, and the pictures will help to identify which you have, and please ask if not sure.  Thanks for looking.    This is made from laser cut 1.5 stainless steel.  It has been rumbled to make it smooth and give it an abraded surface that also helps give a better seal, plus removes all sharp edges.      It gives a cleaner pickup at lower revs because it stops exhaust gas being recycled. If the EGR valve is playing up, then the improvement can be quite dramatic on these engines. It has a 10mm hole so that the engine management light doesn't come on in the Euro 4.  The Euro 3 doesn't need a hole, as it is very rare for the light to come on in them. This I also have listed, item number 121144964932.    This fits: PUMA engines code ZSD-420  ZSD-422  fitted in:                      Jaguar 2.0/2.2 d X type  -  with the EGR fitted to the front of the engine      Ford MK3 Mondeo 2.0/ 2.2 TDCi - with the EGR fitted to the front of the engine   On some of the mk3 2.0L Mondeo and MK6 2.0L Transit, though they have the same engine, the EGR valve is located next to the turbo, or above the gear box, so this plate will NOT fit. Sorry, but I don't do that plate any more.   This will not fit the later PSA engine which also has the EGR fitted to the rear of the engine, item number 110907922480    I also have a plate without a 10mm hole in to get the best performance from your engine (item number121144964932).  Or if your EGR is playing up, this plate will not do as EGR gas will still go into the engine when it should not, coursing it to still run rough though it will be a bit better.    1.  Cleaner engine oil helping to give longer engine life.    2.  Turbo spooling up quicker, and at lower revs    3.  Prevents soot build up in intake manifold, and valve's, which will lower the power    4.  Smoother drive and quite often better economy    5.  Help to pass the MOT as it will lower the black smoke output (UK)   express 24 is working days only, and has to be paid for before 3.00pm     Any Q please ask, happy to help. I can fit it for you, at my premises, just ring me  Easy to fit blanking plate, fits between EGR valve and exhaust gas recirculate pipe and there is no need to remove EGR or recirculate pipe to fit, 10-15 minute job. Just undo the two nuts (but not take of), slip the plate in between the EGR valve and the gasket, and re-tighten the nuts.  Note the piggyback motor, and it should not be unplugged when the plate is fitted You do not undo the studs, just the nuts ( ringed in red), and slip the plate in between the valve and silver pipe. When EGR valve sticks open air supplied to engine by turbo above 1800rpm is diverted into exhaust pipe by stuck open EGR valve, engine management system thinks all this air is going into engine (detected by MAF mass air flow sensor which is located near air filter outlet) so EMS injects fuel to match air it thinks is going into engine, this results in too little air and too much fuel which = Black Smoke. Fitting blanking plate blocks air going back to exhaust, so all air boost from turbo goes to engine to burn with fuel. Also stops exhaust going into the engine, which also makes it smoke, and lowers fuel consumption. All plates are designed and researched by me in house over many years. I do not buy or have ever brought from other seller (most sellers are just engineering firms that have brought from each other-along with the repeated mistakes or Chinese drop shops), and have no idea about car engines, fault codes, and what can be causing them. I have been a mechanic for many years, and my number 4 son is also a trained mechanic of some years
