“ French Theatre Prints x5 “
From c1845 comes this set of five rare and wonderful scenes of French Theatre, with two of the works that were created for the theatre by Frederic Soulie and Casimir Delauigue. Quality of the prints overall very good for over 170 years old. Prints with borders of steel engraving technique, and with the theatrical characters of a stone lithographic technique, and being of a very fine quality. Printed on aging of white thick paper. The back is without any other text or pictures. Printed by Lemercier, Bernard. Excellent examples of printing technique in the early c19th . Some slight aging discrepancies but overall good.

Overall size is 32x24 cms approx.
All prints have a three centimetre border with text underneath referring to Paris Rue JJ. Rousseau. Im de Lemiercier, Bernard. And Successors de la Maison Aumont.
